From Seattle to Yellowstone. First day at our cabin and we see this right off of the porch:
The toddler did great for two long days in the car. I think we'll keep her.

Good for you. My son has done a couple long trips - Chicago to central PA to see his grandma . Unfortunately I’d say it hasn’t gotten easier and possibly harder now that he’s 2

I’ve found the road trips while potty training to be the worst. The “Daddy I need to poop” from the back seat is terrifying.

Our kids love road trips, good thing too- our annual pilgrimage to grandma and grandpas is 11 hrs of driving..

This is true, and there is the equally terrifying, “Daddy I’m going to be sick” which is generally followed by terrible sounds that result in an interior clean I’d rather forget.

I will not tell you about my return trip with the kids, minus my wife, from Disney World a couple Christmases past... trying to push those memories deep, deep down.
